Experience Matters; Jones & Walden LLC, Has It
Business Reorganization Experience By the Numbers
Jones & Walden has been a leading law firm in filing cases under Subchapter V since that law took effect in February 2020. Jones & Walden obtained the first confirmed plan of reorganization in the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia (In re Cristian Liquors, Case No. 20-40499-bem). From 2020 to the summer of 2026, Jones & Walden have filed many more Subchapter V cases, allowing individuals and businesses to salvage businesses, homes, and otherwise meet their legal goals, bringing calm to an otherwise chaotic and stressful situation. Jones & Walden obtained the confirmation of a plan of reorganization in over 60 Subchapter V cases, with additional cases resulting in a positive result for the client other than a confirmed plan.
Additionally, two partners at Jones & Walden serve as Subchapter V trustees in the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, serving in over 160 additional Subchapter V cases.
Jones & Walden has also obtained confirmations for its clients under Chapter 11. Since 2010, Jones & Walden has successfully confirmed in excess of 100 plans of reorganization in traditional Chapter 11 cases in addition to Subchapter V cases, with additional Chapter 11 cases resulting in a positive outcome for the client other than a confirmed plan.
All in, the vast majority of the Chapter 11 cases (both traditional and Subchapter V cases) have resulted in a successful outcome for our client.
