Since 2005, Cameron M. McCord has focused her practice on corporate and individual Chapter 11 bankruptcy, business law, commercial dispute resolution, and litigation with an emphasis on debtor-creditor disputes, problem loans, and business restructurings. She has served as lead counsel in over 50 corporate Chapter 11 bankruptcies and over 20 individual Chapter 11 bankruptcies, obtaining confirmed reorganization plans in the vast majority of those cases. In 2020, Cameron was appointed as a Sub Chapter V, Chapter 11 trustee in the Northern District of Georgia. Cameron has also represented clients in over 50 adversary proceedings, both as part of her client’s bankruptcy representation and as special counsel assisting other attorneys. Cameron fights for her clients’ interests and excels at finding practical solutions in even the toughest situations, including in complex litigation and cases involving fraud and fraudulent transfer claims. 

After graduating from Georgia State University College of Law in 2005, Cameron joined Jones & Walden as an associate attorney. She became a Partner with the firm in 2013. Prior to law school, Cameron attended Humboldt State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001. She also holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Georgia State University School of Art and Design with a concentration in photography and sculpture. 

Cameron lives in the Buckhead area with her husband and two children and their dogs, Friday and Finn.
