Leslie focuses her practice on Bankruptcy, Creditor Rights, Commercial Litigation, Business Transactions, Commercial Real Estate Transactions and Trademark Law.
Leslie is a partner at Jones & Walden and joined the firm as an associate in 2008. She represents clients in a variety of legal matters in state and federal courts and in business transactions. Leslie's clients include small businesses, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs.
Leslie represents debtors, creditors and equity holders in chapter 11, chapter 7, chapter 12 and chapter 13 bankruptcies and adversary proceedings throughout Georgia. Leslie has confirmed numerous chapter 11 plans for debtors, participated in Sec. 363 asset sales, served as a Chapter 11 trustee and assisted lenders and creditors in successfully protecting their rights in bankruptcy. Leslie represents parties in state court receivership proceedings, mediations and foreclosure matters.
Leslie additionally concentrates her practice in commercial litigation by appearing in state and federal courts in matters regarding contract disputes, fraudulent transfers, creditor's rights, alter ego, real estate issues and receivership cases. Leslie has participated in numerous mediations.
Leslie represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, the buying and selling of businesses, lease negotiations, business formation and trademark and copyright matters.
Prior to joining Jones & Walden, LLC, Leslie practiced at the boutique entertainment law firm of Jonathan E. Leonard, P.C., where she negotiated entertainment contracts and managed business and intellectual property matters for a variety of entertainment clients, including Grammy Award-winning writers, producers, and artists.
Leslie graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2001. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in May of 2006.
