Staci Close | Jones & Walden

Staci CloseStaci L. Close graduated cum laude with distinction from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. While at JMU, she authored an honors thesis entitled, The Role and Significance of Middle Georgia Dialect in Flannery O'Connor's Fiction. After working as a legal assistant and paralegal at a firm in Marietta for two years, she decided to attend the Georgia State University College of Law and graduated in 2008. While in law school, Staci served on the Moot Court Executive Board as the Vice President of Appellate Advocacy and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant to Professor L. Lynn Hogue. She also received the Georgia State University CALI award for excellence in Administrative Law.

Staci joined Jones & Walden, LLC as an associate in June of 2009. She focuses her practice on litigation and bankruptcy, including both Creditor's Rights and Debtor's rights. Staci is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and is a member of the Bankruptcy section of the State Bar of Georgia.
