Leslie M. Pineyro | Jones & Walden
Leslie M. Pineyro graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2001. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in May of 2006. During law school, Leslie served as a the Director of Volunteer Services at Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, a non-profit legal organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to Georgia's artists. Leslie was also the President of Georgia State University College of Law, American Constitution Society and received the 2005-2006 Georgia State University College of Law Public Service Award. Additionally during law school, Leslie served as the Graduate research assistant to Professor Michael Landua, Fulbright Scholar and Head of Intellectual Property Studies. Leslie also received the Georgia State University CALI Award for Excellence in Copyright Law and Entertainment Law.
Prior to joining Jones & Walden, LLC, Leslie practiced at the boutique entertainment law firm of Jonathan E. Leonard, P.C. where she negotiated entertainment contracts and managed business and intellectual property matters for a variety of entertainment clients including Grammy award winning writers, producers and artists.
Leslie joined Jones & Walden, LLC as an associate in October of 2008. Leslie focuses her practice on Bankruptcy, Copyright & Trademark Law, and Entertainment law. Leslie is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and is a member of the Entertainment and Intellectual Property sections of the State Bar of Georgia.
